Keep track of Major League Baseball players' injuries with Day-to-Day!
This site is an all in one place view of a team's injured list, with
a timeline of events for each player so you get a clear picture of
what's going on. The site is free to use and open source, and is not
affiliated with Major League Baseball or any of its teams.
Where the data comes from
Roster moves (IL designations and rehab assignments) come from MLB's
own transactions feed. The "narrative" stages come from reports, which are
read by large language models and stored as a fixed progression. Every
reported row links to the source it came from; check it out for more
information or if something looks wrong. New updates are picked up
hourly through the day.

Reading the table
- Injury is the injury as listed by the team, which
is often vague. The site does not guess at what it is but rather attempts to
categorize it. Sometimes said categorization is wrong; be sure to check
the source for specific information.
- Timetable is estimated time still out, not return
date. A plain figure is something a reporter published. A muted, ~ figure is this site's own estimate
from what the injury usually costs — worth reading as a ballpark.
Hover any of them for information on what the figure is based on.
- Updated is the date of the newest thing said about the player,
which is often older than you would expect.
Player pages
Search by name in the bar, or follow any name in the table. The page
shows where the player stands now, as well as the whole sequence
of events for their current injured list stint. Tags on an event say how
firmly it was reported
(expected, rumored),
whether it was a setback, and which row the
outlook at the top was read off.
What this is not
Day-to-Day is not official, and not a betting tool. It is a reading of public
reporting. Reporting is sometimes wrong. Language models are sometimes wrong.
The site is not a substitute for local beat reporters.
